But what if our true value has little to do with what we own, achieve, or how the world sees us? What if our deepest worth is spiritual? Is there a greater value that exists beyond society’s judgments and the numbers on our pay statements? Can we truly find a Spirituality of Self-Worth?

When we look back on our school days, we can appreciate just how much we can learn and grow in the span of a single year. Spiritually, it’s much the same. Life is constantly offering us opportunities to learn, evolve, and deepen our understanding—and every experience, challenge, and relationship can become our teacher. As Rev. Laine celebrates her 9th Anniversary as Senior Minister at CSLTB, she’ll reflect on what the past 12 months have taught her and invite us to consider the same question for ourselves: What has life been teaching you this year? Because as a spiritual community, we don’t just grow individually—we grow together, learn together, and support one another along the way.

Guided Meditation Sunday mornings
We offer a guided meditation on Sunday mornings from 10:00 – 10:20 in the practitioner room. The practitioner room will continue to be available for quiet personal time anytime after 9:00. Then at 10:00 if you want to experience meditation as a group, you can head back to the practitioner room for our guided meditation from one of our licensed practitioners.

Connection Time
Connection Time starts at 9:15am and each person can choose how to spend their time each week.
Do you want to connect within with Spirit? Head to the practitioner room for a quiet space with soft music and lighting, There may or may not be a guided experience, depending on the week, but there will always be a space to pray, meditate or sit in the silence.
Do you want to connect over coffee and casual conversation? Head to the fellowship hall to get a cup of coffee and always feel free to bring a snack to share.
Do you want to connect with Rev. Laine, the lesson and a guided conversation? Head to the sanctuary for Sacred Cup, which is a guided discussion about the lesson for the morning. Usually hosted by Rev. Laine, however another host will be present on some Sundays when she is elsewhere.
